Veterinary Assistant

If you love animals and would like to play a role in promoting their health and happiness, the Veterinary Assistant program could be right for you. For every new best friend, there's someone keeping him healthy and veterinarians are increasingly relying on veterinary assistants to help them provide that care.

As a "Vet Assistant," you'll be a critical member of a veterinary team. A Vet Assistant works in direct support of the Veterinarian and Vet Tech during diagnoses and surgical procedures. Beyond that, your primary responsibility will be to provide high quality, humane care to animals during all stages of their lives. Veterinary Assistants work with all kinds of different animals, performing a wide array of procedures. By combining your love of animals with what you do for a living, you'll not only have a positive impact on their lives, you can enrich the quality of your own life as well.
