The Bachelor of Science in Nursing program at Sanford-Brown College, St. Peters (SBC) is designed to provide registered nurses with additional academic training and education in the science and principles of nursing. The curriculum, which includes coursework in nursing science, research, and leadership, is designed to prepare graduates to continue to work as registered nurses -- at a more advanced level -- in a variety of healthcare settings or to take professional roles away from the bedside. At the completion of the program, graduates who have diligently attended class, studied, and practiced their skills should have enhanced employment opportunities as registered nurses.

MISSOURI BOARD OF NURSING AND STATE LICENSURE DISCLOSURE
The Bachelor in Science in Nursing program is approved by the Missouri Board of Nursing. Graduation from a nursing program approved by the Missouri Board of Nursing is required to apply for state licensure and sit for the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN). However, state licensure requirements are not controlled by SBC but by the individual states and are subject to change without notice to SBC. SBC cannot guarantee that graduates will be eligible for licensure in Missouri, at all or at any specific time, regardless of their eligibility status upon enrollment.
